Even when the whole world knows about the adventages of a Resource-Based Economy and are willing to put it into practise, we would still live in the same capitalistic system as today. The global movement involved with that idea still has no implementable transition proposal. There are numerous attempts ^{[1] [2] [3] [4]}, most involve some kind of city building^[5][6], which is more a awareness project than a RBE implementation. It is very difficult and probably impossible to create an overall transition plan, therefore we don't need a plan which teleports us directly into a RBE instead we need a plan which creates an optimal environment which allows us to optimize society step by step. And if a RBE is the optimal solution we will naturally end up in it.

Core principles

As we have many resources and huge knowledge, time is our enemy. It is better to implement a solution which improves our life just a little right now than working on a optimal solution for years. We can still search for the optimal one, in fact we are doing that all the time, but we shall apply efficiently every possible improvement.

Core assumption

It should be obvious that we have a centralized system today. Our economy is centralized because of the current monetary system. All the countries and their government are centralized. This leads to the conclusion that decentralization is better than centralization.

Core problem

While we already have the technology^[7] to burst the civilization to level 2 we still suffer scarcity. We are not yet in the Post-Scarcity_Age. ^[8][9] Therefore we need a system to exchange goods and services. Why not directly propose a Gift economy, which is proved to work in FOSS? Because of the habits, people are used to a form of money. Hence we shall use a slightly improved monetary system.
