Suggestions of good Open source Project Management Systems.
Requirements:
- Flexible (not product specific)
- (add more)
- List of all projects
- Create project
- Invite people by required knowledge to check your project out
- Collaborative/Open Source development (the development begins)
- Release stable project versions
- Create Revisions to let others branch it
- Let people comment on the project -> Issues, Further ideas, etc
- Project manager The creator of the project. Not a leader but a guide that introduce new people to the project and point them in the right direction.
Question:
Lets say I create a project and many people wants to contribute to that project. We start the development of the project and wooops a new guy wants to participate in the development. How do we solve this?
Suggested solutions:
1. Everybody working on their own, creating revisions? 2. Everybody working together and just let him in with requirement that he has read the documentation? 3. The project manager gives instructions in what he can contribute with?
