My Roadmap

This roadmap is absolutely arbitrary and subjective. It solely presents a way to achieve a better society. This way is highly customized to my skills and motivation.

Core Problems

Freedom of Speech

The first step towards a free, peaceful and harmonic society is freedom of speech.

Egoistic Society

We humans often behave selfish, but why are we like that? Despite the ongoing discussion on nature or nurture, i simply refer to Hamiltons rule^[1]. To reduce selfish and increase altruistic behaviour we have to reduce the "cost" and increase the "benefit" of cooperation. (That's self-evident:)

Solution

The underlying principle of Open Source, Open Education, Open Society, Open Content, Open Knowledge is Open Data. I'll use the Term "Open Data" slightly different as here^[2].

Free/Open Data

Free Data refers to the data itself, everything representable by bits. "Data" is better known as a wiki page, website, discussion, program, source code. All that data is cultural work, to which we apply the 4 freedoms^{[3] [4]}.

These principles allow very interesting workflows: freedom 3 gives us the possibility to fork and branch every "data piece". To distinguish among all forks we need proper "revision identication", which leads in a revision control system.

Storage

Traditionally data is stored on huge server farms, but this centralized approach simply does not scale. Therefore we need a distributed data storage system for sharing and communicating. I started working on such a system called AnarchNet.
